For the postponed match of the 6th matchday, Olympiacos did not manage to win PAOK and was defeated 1-2.
Olympiacos dominated the pitch in the beginning of the match. During the first 25 minute of the game PAOK played with three defence zones, starting from the centre and going back to Glykos. In stark contrast of the match outlook, the host team scored the opening goal in the 43th minute with Athanasiadis. However, our side were quick to reply. Following a corner kick by Chori Dominguez outside the box, Fuster scored an extraordinary goal with his one-touch shot and tied the match.
After the kick-off of the second half, PAOK again led the match following a shot by Pereyra who sent the ball to the right corner of Roberto’s goalposts. Our side’s superiority did not lead to any more goals until the end of the match and PAOK won the game 1-2.
