Mandra booming once again

Mandra booming once again

Olympiacos’ everyday support to our fellow people in this town of Western Attica goes on non-stop.

Since last November when deadly floods hit the town of Mandra, Olympiacos has been there every single day! Besides, instructions since day one by our club’s leader, Mr Evangelos Marinakis, were crystal clear; help all townsmen in every possible and for as long as it takes, simple as that.

So, the Legend’s crews worked non-stop! Hundreds of plants were sowed at Koropoulis Square, whereas new street lighting columns were installed across town. Additionally, more roads were paved and stone-built edifices restored.

It must be noted that all these efforts were coordinated by Karaiskakis SA President and CEO Mr Vassilis Vassiliadis, together with other executives from Olympiacos FC, Karaiskakis Stadium and the Rentis Training Center. Along with them was Vice Mayor of Mandra-Idilia Municipality, Mr Periklis Rokas.

All reconstruction works were paid by Olympiacos FC, as instructed by our leader, Mr Evangelos Marinakis; on top that, extensive planting at the town entrance, road paving and stone buildings were completed.

The town of Mandra is booming once again, is progressively gaining speed and color, following vast and daily contribution by the people of this country’s largest Club; their sole reward is a genuine “thank you” by locals, who use all opportunities to express their heartfelt acknowledgment to them.
