The Museum of OLYMPIACOS
OLYMPIACOS, pioneer as always, has accomplished a great deal: Championships, Cups, and distinctions, and has contributed to the upgrading of Hellenic sports. However, its most significant conquest is the love and support of the people in every moment of its long course.
On May 14, 2006, OLYMPIACOS founds its museum. It is a way to give to its fans and to all football supporters and citizens, the possibility to realize that history is a pleasant and secure way to “travel” to the past, present and future.
The museum of OLYMPIACOS is a place where one can learn about OLYMPIACOS, the teams, the athletes and the fans, Piraeus, Hellenic sports, as well as the history of football and the other sports sustained by the club.
The museum of OLYMPIACOS collects and presents exhibits, registers and researches information and knowledge which are successively presented in such a way as to make every visit unique and interesting.
Furthermore, the visitors can attend lectures and seminars, enjoy temporary exhibitions and participate in other events.
The educational program meets the needs of students that wish to combine their love for football and sports in general with knowledge about the past.
The Museum is open to the visitors:
Tuesday-Thursday: 10:00-18:00
Friday: 10:00-22:00
Saturday & Sunday: 11:00-15:00
Monday: Closed
On match days the Museum is open until half an hour before kick-off time.
