Megyeri was the goalkepper, with Salino, Avraam, Medjani and Vouros in defense. Midefiled-wise, Yatabare, N’Dinga, Fuster and Weiss were fielded, whereas Olaitan and Sepovic took on the attack.
Our side started the match aggressively, but it was Fragkos who scored the opener 1-0 for Fokikos in 8’.
This goal, scored against the run of play, did not deter Olympiacos players, who leveled it in 16’ courtesy of Fuster.
Olympiacos was also quick to take the lead. In 24’, Weiss played a one-two combination with Sepovic and netted it easily. In fact, Olympiacos managed to score the 3rd one as swiftly thanks to an Olaitan effort.
The icing on the cake was our side’s fourth in the first half, with N’Dinga scoring a beautiful one in 33’ turning the match into a 4-1.
During the second half, the match pace dropped significantly as expected. Fokikos managed to score twice, in 55′ and 75′, and make it 3-4. However, it was Olympiacos that finalized the match with a Papasavvas goal in 86′.
