Olympiacos registered another victory, Saturday evening, for this year’s Super League campaign, this time against OFI with a final 3-0 scoreline in Karaiskakis.

The Legend’s pressure bore fruit early enough and our side took the lead in 22’. Durmaz performance credited him with a goal in 44’ and thus a 2-goal advantage for Olympiacos. The certainly fair 2-0 scoreline was the result that sent both sides to the break.

Olympiacos kicked off in the second half with no changes and showed early enough that they were looking to score more goals! Rocket-propelled Kasami and Durmaz would carry Olympiacos with them in a frenetic pace; outstanding Alejandro Dominguez put on a splendid show in 54’ and produced an unbelievable goal, providing the Legend with a clear 3-goal advantage!

During the last part of the match, Olympiacos put the brakes on to save energy as the side had its mind set on this UEFA Champions League premiere against Atletico. What matters is that ahead of Tuesday’s fixture, Olympiacos put on a convincing display, increased its tempo and boosted its mental state; now everybody may start looking forward to the match against Atletico.

OLYMPIACOS (Michel): Roberto, Salino, Masuaku, Avlonitis, Abidal, Milivojevic, Kasami, Dominguez (57’ Benitez), Durmaz, Afellay (68’ Mpouchalakis), Diamantakos (55’ Mitroglou).
