OLYMPIACOS gives special importance to his youth teams. The main goal is the proper functioning and development of the Football Academy, as well as the upgrading and development of the network of football schools, which is spreading both in Greece and abroad.
Football Academy U-20 Competitive Team
The U-20 competitive division participates in the corresponding Super League youth league.
The U-20 team, during the 2009/10, 2012/13, 2014/15, 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 seasons, won the Super League Youth League title and during the 2003/04 season the Hellenic Football League National Championship. Of course, Olympiacos is the record holder of titles in Youth leagues.
During the 2012/13 season, the team participated in the NextGen Series competition and made it to the quarter-finals.
During the 2014/15 season, the team made it to the round of 16 of the UEFA Youth League.
The U-20 team constantly participates in this competition, between 2013 and 2016.
For the UEFA Youth League competition, the team has won, among others, the Academy teams of Juventus, Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid and Arsenal.
The Youth team, both during the 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 seasons, scored over 100 goals in official matches.
The team has participated in many international tournaments, such as:
2008: Second place in the SPAX U-19 Tournament
2009: First place in the U-20 Turin Tournament
2010: First place in the Emirates Cup in Dubai
2012: First place in the MEMORIA XXVIII TORNEO JUVENI in Sociedad
2017: Third place in the International Reze Tournament in France.
Football Academy U-17 Competitive Team
The U-17 competitive division participates in the corresponding Super League youth league.
The U-17 team has won six (6) Super League Youth League titles in the 2009/10, 2010/11, 2014/15, 2016/17, 2017/18 and 2018/19 seasons.
In March 2016, it participated in the “Future Cup” organised by Ajax in Amsterdam in the memory of Johan Cruyff.
Before the team had also participated in many international tournaments, having achieved very good results:
2007: Second place in the U-17 Shakhtar Donetsk Tournament
2008: First place in the U-17 Shakhtar Donetsk Tournament
2010: First place in the U-17 Anorthosi Cyprus Tournament
2010: Second place in the U-17 XV Torneo “Miguel Tendillo”
Football Academy U-16 Competitive Team
The U-16 team is present every year in tournaments in Attica, with the participation of Academies of the professional clubs and, of course, has a leading role in the Piraeus Regional Football Club Association’s Championship. Also, during the season, it participates in international friendly matches, as well as in tournaments abroad.
Football Academy U-15 Competitive Team
The U-15 team participates in the U-15 Super League youth league and has won the title twice (2013/14, 2015/16). During the 2014/15 and 2016/17 seasons, the team made it to the competition’s final.
In 2017, the team won the Youth Championship of the Piraeus Regional Football Club Association.
In 2016 and 2017, the team visited Qatar and participated in the international tournament organised by the “Aspire Academy”.
In 2012, the team won the 1st place in the “Thucydides” tournament after beating Panathinaikos in the penalty shoot-out.
Football Academy U-14 Competitive Team
The U-14 team, in 2017, reached the final phase of the Nike Premier Cup competition in Berlin and conquered the 5th place.
Every year the team is present in tournaments in Attica with the participation of the Academies of Professional Clubs and, of course, has a leading role in the Piraeus Regional Football Club Association’s championship.
In 2016, the team won the 2nd place in the international “Leonhofen FC” tournament in Austria, having also participated in the tournament organised by the “Aspire Academy” in Qatar.
Football Academy U-13 Competitive Team
The U-13 team competes and has a leading role in the Piraeus Regional Football Club Association’s championship.
In 2017, the team participated in the “Mundialito” in Spain and in 2016 in the “Friendship Cup” in Russia.
In May 2010, the team had its greatest international achievement as it conquered the first place in the international tournament “Biale Orly Cup” that took place in Warsaw, Poland.
In 2012, the team conquered the 1st place in the “Thucydides” tournament after beating AEK 3-1.
Football Academy U-12 Competitive Team
The Academy has a U-12 team, which participates in tournaments in Attica and abroad. During the season, it participates in competitions and friendly matches with our schools.
Football Academy U-11 Competitive Team
The U-11 team of our Academy participates in tournaments in Attica alongside teams from other professional clubs, as well as from our schools.
During the 2018/19 season, it took part in a tournament in Portugal
Football Academy U-10 Competitive Team
The Academy has also a U-10 team, which participates in tournaments in Attica and abroad. Every year it takes part in friendly matches with our schools from all over Greece.
During the 2018-2019 season, it participated in tournaments in Poland.
