European Champions, Sabadell Spain, celebrate their 4th Euroleague Final and 3rd in a row during last five years, looking forward for their fourth Trophy!
On the second semifinal of Women’s Euroleague Final Four, taking place in “Petros Kapagerof” Swimming Pool, the Spanish team played much better than their opponents, attacked in all possible ways and took a fare victory.
Their captain, Olga Domenech Morales scored three times in first three periods and led her teammates to establish a safe advantage. Hungarians didn’t quit, fought hard and scored up to 4-5, tried to make the surprise, but at the end the most experienced and skilled team won the match. Sudduth-Kiss and Keszthelyi scored each twice for UVSE, while Forca Ariza made three on her own for the Spanish team.
Sabadell is going to play for Euroleague Trophy tomorrow at 20.15, against the winner of the first semifinal and hosts of this Final Four, Olympiacos Piraeus.
