“Our fans are always by our side, they always support us in the best possible way; this is very important for us and we thank them for this. Tonight’s match was quite disappointing for us because Atlético were better during the whole match. What we need to do now is focus on the next UEFA Champions League match against Malmö in order to manage to win this match.”
David Fuster:
“We are disheartened, we are really upset by our poor display tonight, this was a really bad night for us; when you have a bad display with many errors against a club such as Atlético Madrid, it’s only natural to create this ugly image.
Things are much more difficult now as regards our qualification in the next round, however anything can happen in the last matchday; we hope Atlético Madrid will win Juventus and that we will do the same with Malmö and thus manage to make our fans happy, something we did not do today.
