A week of humanitarianism and solidarity!

A week of humanitarianism and solidarity!

Following an inititative by Olympiacos leader Mr Evangelos Marinakis, our Club stands next to the flood-affected people in Mandra.

As days go by, the more the Legend’s hug opens up to accommodate for those affected by deadly floods in Mandra. Thursday evening, Olympiacos -the biggest sports Club of our country- extended its reach one more time to help those people giving their own fight for survival!

The Legend is present and keeps supporting local efforts made by the Mandra inhabitants to save their properties. As it as the case during previous 6 days, the red-and-white family opened up its arms, for the 5th consecutive day, to cater for these people.

Machinery allocated by Olympiacos, including earth-moving machines and tracks, kept working today feverishly as well, to clean up houses, yards, pavements, streets, schools, and remove mud wherever necessary, carried by deadly floods into various Mandra areas.

Heading the whole operations is Karaiskakis SA President and CEO Mr Vassilis Vassiliadis, who spends every day there and coordinates on site all efforts that are not going to stop! They will remain for as long as it takes in order to restore normality in the region. The country’s biggest club will always be there wherever necessity calls!
