The very next day after deadly floods hit the area of Mandra, Attica, the leader of Olympiacos Evangelos Marinakis mandated our country’s largest Club to provide substantial and multi-faceted support to local residents in order to recover swiftly.
Not in words, but in practice! By making sure that our people there give their best every single day when providing actual relief and not putting up a show; by putting time, money, efforts on the line in the most willing and selfless way, most importantly. These are the qualities displayed by all members of the Olympiacos organization who daily work on the spot!
As it was the case in all previous days, today (Tuesday (19/12) was the day the half-wall encasing for Mandra’s Municipal Cinema was carried out in a very short span. Right after that, concrete mixers, provided by Olympiacos, were there to pour concrete that was then pressed into the encasing by pressers.
All trucks and earth-moving machinery spent the entire day working and cleaning up flood-hit Mandra’s streets, pavements and house yards off the muds. For the 32nd consecutive day, our trucks and earth-movers moved to local landfill tons of muds and debris carried away by raging torrents.
Of course, it was Karaiskakis SA President and CEO Mr Vassilis Vassiliadis coordingating all operations together with staff from Olympiacos, Karaiskakis and the Rentis Training Center, together with Mandras-Idilias Vice Mayor, Mr Periklis Rokas.
The Legend will continue doing what they already know very well: to cater for all fellow people who are in need! Not just in Mandra, Attica, but everywhere. And not just during Christmas, but the entire year around!
