Here’s part of what Francois Modesto told the press:
“We came here, to Achenkirch, Austria, to get to know each other better. We have many new players on the team and that’s not just it. We also have a new coaching staff. These twelve days that we will be here, we need to work on our physical condition but most importantly we need to work together, as a whole, with one common goal.”
About the fans of Olympiacos, Modesto said: “We hope they will keep supporting us just like they always have, at least during the last two years that I’ve been on the team. It is always very important to us to have our fans on our side; to see them fill up the stadium, just like they have been doing all this time. And it is also very nice to travel around Europe and witness that the fans of Olympiacos follow us no matter where we go.”
“All together for the fourth star?” was the next question posed to Modesto who was clear: “Indeed, but it takes a lot of work to accomplish that. Let’s not just stick to words. We must show it on the pitch through a lot of hard work.”
