On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Olympiacos’ glorious history and triumphs, Olympiacos FC, in collaboration with the award-winning UK-based film production company Red Mountain Films, premiered the themed documentary “OLYMPIACOS, THE LEGEND” on MEGA TV, showcasing our Club’s conquest of its first two European football trophies.
Following its great success in Greece—where it made us all relive moments of pride and brought tears to our eyes as we remembered the historic 2023/24 season, during which Olympiacos won both the UEFA Europa Conference League and the UEFA Youth League, becoming the first team to win two UEFA titles in the same season—it is now time for “OLYMPIACOS, THE LEGEND” to travel abroad!
Olympiacos FC has reached an agreement with the globally renowned Prime Video, which will broadcast our team’s documentary abroad in several territories.
Prime Video subscribers will have the opportunity to witness how we reached the historic achievement of winning two European trophies — including never-before-seen footage, celebrations across the country, and exclusive interviews with the key figures behind both triumphs, recounting everything they experienced during this legendary journey.
The President of Olympiacos FC, Mr. Evangelos Marinakis, legends Christian Karembeu and Darko Kovačević, the two coaches of the triumphs José Luis Mendilibar and Sotiris Sylaidopoulos, and team captain Kostas Fortounis, speak on camera about the unforgettable moments we lived during the conquest of the two European titles.
Main players such as Ayoub El Kaabi, Konstantinos Tzolakis, Rodinei, Giorgos Masouras, Charalampos Kostoulas, and Christos Mouzakitis share personal stories from this magical journey, along with other contributors to the “red-and-white” triumph.
Additionally, UEFA President Mr. Aleksander Čeferin and UEFA General Secretary Mr. Theodoros Theodoridis comment on the incredible accomplishments of Olympiacos, winning two European trophies in a single season!
The crazy dream became a reality — and now, through Prime Video the greatness of the Legend and the historic moments we experienced in April and May of 2024 will travel beyond Greece. Moments of pride, emotion, and international recognition for Olympiacos’ first team and U19 squad, which will forever be in our hearts!
