Olympiacos’ youth side drew 2–2 against PSV at Rentis for Matchday 4 of the League Phase of the UEFA Youth League and, although they found themselves down 0–2, they managed to come back and in the end were the ones who deserved the win.
With this result, the “red-and-whites” reached 7 points in the competition and continue to hold qualification in their hands, with the next two matches being against Real Madrid at home and, on the final matchday, against Kairat in Kazakhstan.
Penso scored the opener in 4’ by Penso with a direct free-kick, while in the 31st minute PSV made it 0–2 through Bahati. In the 40th minute, Olympiacos reduced the deficit with Toufakis’ finish, while a little later Alafakis won a penalty which Liatsikouras was unable to convert into a goal. The final 2–2 came in the 49th minute, with Kolokotronis beating the opposing goalkeeper from close range.
