The “Red-and-whites” collected all three points (1-3) against newly promoted Kifisia, proving superior throughout the game hosted at Nikaia for MD10 of the Stoiximan Super League. Although they were briefly pegged back at the start of the second half, they reacted immediately to regain the lead and secure the win.
Nascimento opened the scoring for Olympiacos in the 37th minute with a fine finish from a tight angle. Pantelidis equalized for Kifisia in 47’, but El Kaabi restored the lead with two successful penalties in the 57th and 71st minutes. Kifisia were reduced to ten men in 62’ after Maindana was sent off with a second yellow card.
