Christos Mouzakitis has been crowned the winner of the international poll run by Italian newspaper Tuttosport, earning the title of European Golden Boy Web 2025!
At just 18 years and 10 months old, the midfielder of Olympiacos claimed the award after finishing first in the public vote for the best, most talented, and most popular footballer under 21 playing for a European club.

The competition ran for five months, during which more than one million fans cast their votes – propelling the Olympiacos youngster to the top of Europe, ahead of several major names in world football. In each of the four voting rounds, the Greek international topped the standings and never looked back.
A homegrown Olympiacos player now sits on the European throne, succeeding last year’s winner, Kenan Yıldız of Juventus! Mouzakitis now joins the list of past Golden Boy Web winners, including Jude Bellingham (2023), Nicola Zalewski (2022), Karim Adeyemi (2021), Ansu Fati (2020), Mattéo Guendouzi (2019), and Justin Kluivert (2018).
A European champion with the Olympiacos U19s in 2023–2024, a domestic double winner with the first team, and the standout young player of the landmark 2024–2025 season – and now, he reaches the pinnacle of Europe as the new Golden Boy Web!
Christos, congratulations! The entire “red-and-white” family is proud of you.
