Olympiacos’ U19 team was defeated 0–2 by Real Madrid at Rentis in the UEFA Youth League.

Olympiacos suffered its second defeat of the season in this year’s UEFA Youth League, losing 0–2 to Real Madrid on Matchday 5 of the League Phase, and remains on 7 points.

Olympiacos delivered a solid performance against a top-class opponent but was undone in the final minutes of the match.

Giorgos Simos’s team will now prepare to travel to Kazakhstan in two weeks’ time to seal qualification to the next stage and compete in the knockout rounds of the competition for a third consecutive year.

Diez opened the scoring in the 78th minute with a close-range finish, while Martínez converted a penalty to make it 0–2 and seal the final result.
