Olympiacos secured first place in the League Phase of the Greek Cup, completing four wins out of four in the competition, with a comfortable 6–0 victory over Iraklis at the “G. Karaiskakis” Stadium. In this phase of the tournament, the Greek double winners defeated Asteras Aktor, Volos, Ellas Syrou, and, in their final matchday, Iraklis.
It was a match in which the Piraeus side could have scored even more goals, based on the number of chances they created. The goals for the Legend were scored by Yazıcı (12’), Kalogeropoulos (21’), Rodinei (40’), Chiquinho (45’), Yaremchuk (51’), and Retsos (60’).
