Just a few days before their away clash with Ajax in Amsterdam for Matchday 8 of the UEFA Champions League Group Phase, Olympiacos claimed a home win against Volos NPS at the “G. Karaiskakis” Stadium, in the context of Matchday 18 of the Stoiximan Super League.
The “red-and-whites” were the superior side throughout the match and could have added more goals, creating several chances over the course of the game.
The decisive goal, which sealed the victory, was scored in the 26th minute by El Kaabi, with a neat finish in a one-on-one situation after an assist from Podence.
