Born on January 11, 1999, in Belo Horizonte, Clayton most recently played in Portugal for Rio Ave, where this season he recorded 10 goals and 4 assists.
Overall, he has scored 28 goals and provided 8 assists in 56 appearances with Rio Ave.
During his career in Portugal, he has also featured for Casa Pia, while in his home country he has played for Vila Nova, Coritiba, Guarany, Vasco da Gama, and Juventude.
