TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY TO THE MUSEUM

All visitors entering the Museum agree to comply with the following visitor guidelines and entry terms, which are in place to ensure the safety and protection of the Staff, Visitors, the Collection, and the Facilities.

The Museum reserves the right to amend these terms without prior notice.

There is no public right of access to the Museum. Compliance with these terms is a condition of entry.

1. Entry

1.1. Entry to the Museum is only permitted with a valid ticket.

1.2. Children under the age of 14 may enter the Museum only when accompanied by an adult. Museum Staff may request identification to verify age.

1.3. The Museum reserves the right to deny entry (or request that a visitor leave) if Security Staff determine that a visitor is under the influence of substances or behaving in a disruptive or antisocial manner.

1.4. The Museum may limit the number of visitors permitted on the premises at any time.

1.5. The Museum reserves the right to deny access or remove a ticket holder from the premises in cases of non-compliance with these terms, inappropriate behavior, violence toward Staff or other Visitors, or refusal to follow Staff instructions.

1.6. Any attempt at fraud, theft, or damage to private property within the Museum gives the Museum the right to take necessary action, including legal proceedings against the offenders.

2. Opening Hours

2.1. The Museum operates:

– Tuesday to Sunday 10:00 – 18:00

– On match days, further information will be provided via an announcement

2.2. Museum Staff may ask visitors to begin exiting ten (10) minutes prior to closing time.

2.3. The Museum may change its opening hours without prior notice for safety reasons or due to events taking place at the G. KARAISKAKIS Stadium.

2.4. Visitors are responsible for being informed of the Museum’s operating hours and services before their visit. The Museum does not accept refund requests for entry fees resulting from lack of awareness of these hours.

3. Bag Checks

3.1. Security Staff may conduct bag checks upon entry. Visitors must allow their bags to be inspected.

3.2. Bags or suitcases (wheeled or not) exceeding 40x40x50 cm in size or 8 kg in weight are not permitted in the Museum.

3.3. Prohibited or dangerous items will be confiscated. Illegal substances or items may be seized and handed over to the Police.

4. Respect for Other Visitors – Protection of the Collection

4.1. The Museum may be crowded at times. Visitors are expected to remain courteous, patient, and respectful toward others.

4.2. The following are strictly prohibited within the Museum:

i.Use of mobile phones for voice calls.
ii.Consumption of food or drink (these will be removed at the entrance).
iii.Smoking, including electronic cigarettes or vaping.
iv.Running and/or blocking exits.
v.Carelessness by minors, climbing, or the use of laser pointers.
vi.Use of musical instruments or audio playback devices.
vii.Touching exhibits, unless explicitly permitted by Museum Staff.
viii.Use of scooters or folding bicycles.
ix.Animals of any kind, except certified assistance animals for individuals with disabilities.

These restrictions are indicative and not exhaustive.

4.3. The use of electric wheelchairs by or for individuals with mobility issues is permitted.

5. Staff

5.1. Staff (Museum Employees and Security Personnel) wear visible identification and are authorized to enforce these rules.

5.2. Visitors should contact Staff for any issues or concerns during their visit.

6. Restricted Areas

6.1. Access to Restricted Areas is prohibited. Individuals found in such areas will be asked to leave the Museum.

6.2. The Museum may temporarily restrict public access to certain areas for safety, organizational, or conservation purposes, as well as due to weather conditions or concurrent events. These circumstances do not constitute grounds for ticket refunds.

7. Lost or Unattended Items

7.1. Visitors must not leave personal belongings unattended.

7.2. Unattended items may be removed or destroyed.

8. Filming & Photography

8.1. Mobile phones and portable devices are allowed in the Museum for personal and private use only. This does not include, for clarity, capturing, recording, broadcasting, reproducing, publishing, displaying, or otherwise using content for commercial purposes.
The use of tripods, selfie sticks, or similar accessories is not permitted.
Taking, publishing, or distributing photos of Museum staff is prohibited unless explicit permission is granted.

8.2. By entering the Museum, all individuals acknowledge that they may be photographed or recorded (audio, visual, or audiovisual) and that such material may be used by the Museum at no cost. By purchasing a ticket and entering, visitors consent to the free use of their image and/or voice for promotional purposes, without limitation of territory or duration, either directly or via authorized third parties.

9. Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV)

The Museum premises are monitored by CCTV for the prevention and management of violent or criminal acts, the protection of people and property, the prevention of unlawful activity, and overall facility security.

10. Amendments

These entry terms are subject to change. Please check www.olympiacos.org before your visit.

For any matters not covered by these terms, decisions will be made by the Museum Director.
