Olympiacos FC announces the non-renewal of the club’s cooperation with Mr. Pierre Issa. Mr. Issa contributed greatly in the past two years, in the club’s competitive successes and advancement. Mr. Issa will continue to be a valuable friend for the club in his new professional activity.
Mr. Issa stated:
“After two full years as Sports Director with Olympiacos FC, the Club and I have reached a mutual decision for me to resign from this position. I believe that the Club will continue to draw on all the things that we have built with hard work in the past years, and have great successes in the future. Olympiacos FC is growing every year, both competitively and financially, becoming even more attractive for players, executives and sponsors not only in Greece, but also abroad.
I would like to thank, first and foremost, the President Mr. Marinakis for his continuous trust in me and his great vision for the Club. The players and staff members in Rentis for their hard work and strong commitment during our time together. Christian Karembeu for ALL we have achieved together. And of course the fans of Olympiacos for their loyalty and passion towards the team. It is all these values that make this Club a Legend. It was a true honor for me, to be a member of the Olympiacos family and I wish Olympiacos great accomplishments in the future!”
