The Olympiacos family said its last goodbye to the “eternal adolescent”, Savvas Theodoridis. Olympiacos FC officials, our club’s Veterans Association, UEFA administration and ordinary fans went, Thursday afternoon, to the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens to bid farewell to the man who identifies his entire life with his beloved Olympiacos.
Apart from the leader of Olympiacos Mr. Evangelos Marinakis, the ceremony was also attended by UEFA President Mr. Aleksander Čeferin, UEFA former President and personal friend of the deceased, Mr. Michel Platini, veteran players of Olympiacos and other clubs.
Along with them, Mayor of Piraeus Mr. Giannis Moralis, Olympiacos Sports Director Mr. Christian Karembeu, Pedro Martins, footballers and other members of our club’s Football Team were also there.
The ceremony was also attended by Olympiacos Basketball Team coach, Mr. Giorgos Bartzokas.
