Mikis Theodorakis entered today in the realms of immortality and this is a day of mourning for the Greek people. Mikis used to carry Greece on his shoulders and the latter shall deliver him, crowned with a laurel wreath, to eternal life. Mikis, I shall always remember our never-ending conversations, your bright mind and great passion for Greece. We thank you for your universal legacy, your battles and fights for our homeland and the endless emotions your music generates to us.
