Once again, Olympiacos proved superior to Panathinaikos, but this time, they sealed the win with a 1–0 scoreline, securing their place in the semifinals of the Greek Cup, thanks to a stunning goal from Mouzakitis. The young midfielder of the “red-and-whites” was the one who decided the fate of the quarterfinal, and Olympiacos continues the journey in the competition.
Olympiacos had the opportunity to take the lead in stoppage time of the second half, but El Kaabi’s penalty shot struck the post. However, just three minutes later, in the 94th minute, Mouzakitis sent the ball into the back of the Panathinaikos net with a strike from outside the box.
