Olympiacos played their final pre-season friendly against AZ Alkmaar in the Netherlands, bringing the main stage of their summer preparations abroad to a close after a total of six friendly matches.
The team from Piraeus took a 2-0 lead through goals from El Kaabi (24’) and Carmo (45’), but AZ Alkmaar completed the comeback in the second half with goals from Meerdink (72’ and 89’ by penalty) and an own goal by Carmo (77’).
