Leon Bailey Joins Olympiacos

Official announcement from Olympiacos FC regarding the signing of the Jamaican international winger.

Olympiacos FC is pleased to announce the signing of Jamaican winger Leon Bailey.

Born on 9 August 1997 in Kingston, he joins from Aston Villa, where he made 163 appearances, scoring 23 goals and providing 25 assists, and won the UEFA Europa League in the 2025–26 season.

The Jamaican international has previously played for Roma (11 appearances), Leverkusen (156 appearances, 39 goals and 25 assists), and Genk (77 appearances, 15 goals, and 19 assists).

He has made 123 appearances in the Premier League, 119 in the Bundesliga, 44 in the Jupiler Pro League, 35 in the UEFA Europa League, 13 in the UEFA Champions League and seven in Serie A.

He has made 41 appearances for the Jamaica national team, scoring eleven goals.
