Olympiacos earned a point against Volos NPS in Volos following a 1-1 draw on Matchday 3 of the Stoiximan Super League. The team from Piraeus managed to create several chances but were unable to take advantage of them and leave Volos with all three points.
It was a match in which Olympiacos were unfortunate to lose two players from their starting line-up, as El Kaabi and Roca were both forced off due to injuries sustained in the first and second half respectively.
Olympiacos took the lead through Jota Silva’s penalty in the 45+3rd minute, awarded after Siampanis fouled El Kaabi, resulting in a serious injury to the Moroccan striker. Koba scored in the 76th minute to make the final score 1-1.
