Olympiacos FC announces the end of its partnership with José Luis Mendilibar.
With José at the helm, we won the UEFA Conference League, turning the dream of every Olympiacos supporter and every Greek into reality. In doing so, he became an indelible part of the greatest moment in the history of the LEGEND.
The following season, our team went on to win the historic treble in the Club’s centenary year — the Greek Championship, the Greek Cup and the Super Cup — and the coach himself wrote his name in golden letters in the history of OLYMPIACOS. For this, he will forever be part of our Club’s story. He will always hold a special place in the pantheon of OLYMPIACOS legends and in the hearts of our entire red-and-white family.
In football, however, as in life, chapters eventually come to an end. What lives on forever, though, is what you have achieved.
The appreciation, respect and love of the OLYMPIACOS family will remain with you forever, General, as will the profound emotions that brought us together and will never fade.
