Olympique de Marseille – Olympiacos F.C. 0-1

Olympique de Marseille – Olympiacos F.C. 0-1

In spite of the fact that they were playing at the “Velodrome”, one of the toughest stadiums in France, and despite their many injured players who were unable to offer their services, OLYMPIACOS F.C. still found the way to beat Marseille thanks to a wonderful performance, which apart from pleasing the team fans, granted three more points to the visitors who are now a large step closer to qualifying for the Champions League’s next round.

After some very good performances against Arsenal in the UK and Dortmund in Germany, Olympiacos finally achieved an away win. An incredible pass from Francisco Yeste and a beautiful goal by Yiannis Fetfatzidis gave Olympiacos a well deserved victory on Wednesday (November 23) in the frame of the Champions League’s MD 5 (Group F).
