Olympiacos F.C. head coach, Leonardo Jardim, spoke to the press a short while after the conclusion of the 2012/2013 UEFA Champions League Group stage draw and spoke about the team’s campaign against Arsenal, Schalke and Montpellier.
Leonardo Jardim:
“I believe that our group is a very equilibrated one and that’s something positive for us, since any of the four teams participating is allowed to believe that they have the possibility to qualify to the competition’s next stage.
A good debut at home always works as a boost to the players’ confidence thus a possible victory in the first match at the G.Karaiskakis stadium can help us a great deal with that.
We know that we will be up against some very tough games, coming from high leveled championships, which will not be an easy task, however, as I said before, no team is much inferior to the rest or much superior to us, for that matter. That’s what makes the qualification such an open matter; which is very positive.”
