At the Press Conference that followed the match, Leonardo Jardim addressed the press:
“There’s always room from improvement, as we are still a new team. We must still work hard on all aspects. Pressure, ball circulation etc. The positive thing is that our players are very receptive to what we are trying to show them. Fuster has missed out on a very big part of the preparation due to his injury and must keep working hard on his physical condition.”
About Machado and his position on the pitch: “Someone must cover for Kevin Mirallas. Machado is a very good player and can play in many different positions. He will be situated wherever the team needs him to be.”
