Olympiacos ended their run of fixtures with a victory ahead of the international break, defeating Levadiakos 1-0 away from home thanks to a stoppage-time goal from Manolis Saliakas on Matchday 5 of the Stoiximan Super League.
The “red-and-whites” were the better side throughout the match, putting their opponents under pressure and creating numerous chances, but as the goal did not come, the pressure to secure the victory continued to grow. The decisive goal was scored by Saliakas in the 90+2nd minute with a header following an excellent cross from Freuler.
