Megyeri was in the goal. Diakité, Manolas, Contreras and Cholevas were the defenders. Maniatis, Greco and Machado played in the midfield. At the flanks, Abdoun played on the right, Pino on the left, while Rafik Djebbour was at the top of the offence.
Olympiacos entered the pitch with the will to put pressure on the opponents, while the players of PAS Giannina did not stay inside their box area either.
In the first half’s injury time, Tabasis cleared weakly a free kick delivered by Greco, and Djebbour took advantage of it, marking 1-0.
In the second half, Olympiacos looked for a second goal, which came in 67’ by Abdoun, after he collaborated nicely with Ibagaza.
