Megyeri at the goal, with Cholevas, Manolas and Contreras joining Papazoglou on the defense. Maniatis, Machado and Fejsa were the side’s midfielders. On the offense, Abdoun and Fetfatzidis with Djebbour at the top.
Olympiacos entered the pitch intending to exercise pressure and play offensively, and so it did. However, the first half ended goalless.
After the break, our side, with no half-time subs, resumed pressure with more determination, but managed to convert none of its chances.
Finally, the winning goal was netted in 92’ by Mitroglou.
