Yes, they did, and it was a sold out!
185 companies – among which Olympiacos FC – 525 teams and 2,100 athletes participated in the “Corporate Relay Run” to offer as much joy as possible and support the work of the “Together for Children” Association.
All participation fees by runners and those of companies for the Red Carpet VIP 300, plus those for subscription to the HEART CENTER will be used to promoted the cause of the “Together for Children” Association, which includes 10 charitable member-organisations. This Association offers every form of assistance to children and young people facing social exclusion, domestic violence, chronic diseases, mental or physical disabilities, or the sickness or death of an immediate family member.
So, on Sunday May 19th, the Water Plaza in Palaio Faliro was flooded.. with people that, although temperature was too high, gave their best to make Corparate Relay Run a success!
Olympiacos FC feels proud of being part of that, with our mixed team runners Athina Gkizi, Elia Lampiri, Giannis Christofakis and Panagiotis Dalatariof; we are looking forward to running the next ..miles for the children!
The “Together for Children” Association goals are the following:
● To provide infants, children, kids and adolescents with material, psychological, medical and moral support.
● To offer psychological and social support to families
● To inform and sensitise the public about children in need
● To promote voluntary action for the confrontation of special needs of children
● To collaborate with similar organizations in Greece and abroad
● To advance scientific research
● To collaborate with international associations
● To raise funds through the organization of cultural, educational and athletic events
