Our Schools stand by our fellow people!

Olympiacos Schools participated extensively in the FC’s charities during holidays.

Delegations by no less than 10 of our Schools, including athletes, parents, coaches and heads of Schools, visited institutions and special schools in Greece, Cyprus and Chicago city, where they delivered Olympiacos FC offerings; they also spent, together with the institution directors, a few hours of fun with the children that need our help.
The Alimos Football School, comprising of 15 athletes and members of Football Academy Administration Mr Giorgos Amanatidis and Vasilis Nanou, as well as Head of School Nikos Kordogiannis, visited “Agios Andreas” Children’s institution .
The Elaionas Central School, including 15 athletes and accompanied by Messrs Amanatidis and Nanou, visited, December 21, 2012, the “Mitera” (Mother) children’s playground in Agia Varvara.
In Kavala, local Olympiacos School with 20 athletes and Head Mr Giorgos Papandreou, visited on December 21, 2012, the Kavala Children Protection Center. Our athletes gave also away gifts for the city’s charity bazaar.
The Chania School with 40 athletes and Head Mr Kostas Vernadakis visited, on December 21, 2012, the Chania Hospital for Chronic Diseases.
In Mytilini, our School featuring 15 athletes,Head of School Mr Vaggelis Spanos and Olympiacos U-20 player Praxitelis Vouros visited, on December 21, 2012, the Mytlini Special Elementary School.
In Chalkida, 20 School athletes together with Head Mr Nikos Rogkas visited on December 21, 2012, the 1s Special Elementary School of Chalkida.
The Alexandroupolis Olympiacos School with 15 athletes and Head Mr Panagiotis Logaras visited on December 21, 2012, the SOS Children’s Villages.
Delegation of Olympiacos School in Agia Paraskevi of Volos, consisting of 35 athletes and Head Mr Alexios Malakasiotis visited on December 22, 2012, the Volos Children’s Institution.
School-endorsed Olympiacos FC actions were not limited only within Greece. In Cyprus city of Pafos, a delegation from local Olympiacos School of Football, including 20 athletes and Heads Messrs Christos Konstantinou and Marios Koudellis, visited on December 22, 2012, the “One dream, one wish” Special Hospital.
Last, in Chicago city, head of School Mr Giannis Kosmas with 15 athletes visited the Advocate Lutheran General Children’s Hospital on December 22, 2012.
Our Schools athletes and their parents expressed their joy that Olympiacos FC and its Schools gave them the opportunity to offer some help, even for a short time, in order to alleviate the suffering of those children in need.
Olympiacos is not just about football and sports; it is also about helping one another, as our athletes learn from a tender age.
