Mr Michel fielded our side in a 4-3-3 formation that he kept on altering during the match and with our players changing positions, especially in offense.
The first part was highly energetic with both sides creating good plays; Olympiacos got the upper hand in ball possession and pressure on the opponent, however failed to score.
An offer to “The Smile of the Child”!
During the half-time break, Olympiacos FC Vice President, Mr Savvas Theodoridis, donated two club shirts, signed by our side’s players to “The Smile of the Child” organization”!
Both teams started the second half with no substitutes.
Time was ticking away and our side tried to register the winning goal, since such a tight second-half would barely leave room for more than one goal to decide the winner.
However, nothing changed in the final minutes and the goalless draw remained until the end, retaining our side, alone, at the top of the table.
