Three of our side’s players, Balasz Megyeri, David Fuster and Ariel Ibagaza, attended, Friday night, the New York Olympiacos Fan Club’s annual event.
Our three players, who travelled to the US in order to attend promotional activities with regard to Olympiacos participation in this summer’s International Champions Cup, during which our side will play in the second group against Milan (24/07 – New York), Liverpool (27/07 – Chicago) and Manchester City (02/08 – Minneapolis), were the honored guests of the club’s event last night.
Our players entered the venue under the sounds of the anthem of Olympiacos. All people attending sung chants for Olympiacos whereas many others would approach Ibagaza, Megueri and Fuster for a signed autograph and a photo.
All three “red-and-white” stars received honorary plaques from the Olympiacos fan club members, expressed their gratitude lots of times and called all fans to attend the International Champions Cup fixtures.
Once again, the love from the fans was touching, as commented also upon by the players of Olympiacos.
