Olympiacos saw off AEK by 0-1 for the Greek Cup’s quarter-final return match, in OAKA Stadium, and secured a place in the next stage. Jara was the player scoring our side’s winning goal in 89΄.
The first half of the match lacked good plays, however intensity was palpable. Olympiacos was better; AEK stayed back and waited to counter-attack. Olympiacos attacking-minded style produced no results, since the “red-and-whites” were poor in delivering the final assist.
