“We knew the match could end like this. We couldn’t do anything more. The result was up to a point to be expected. We fought as much as we could to turn things around. We will try to focus on the match against Arsenal in the “Karaiskakis” stadium. We learned our lesson and we now know what we can improve in the following matches. The following European match against Arsenal is of course the most important match we have to play.
It’s important because we need to qualify. We now have two options. The first option is the wrong one, namely to believe that we are secure and that we can count on the result we achieved in London. This may lead to problems. Our second option is to fight to win against a great opponent, one of the biggest clubs in England and in Europe. We will fight during the whole match to win the qualification.
Everything goes fine so far in Greece. My family feels well. As for Guardiola, he is at the moment the best football coach and maybe the best coach in the history of football.”

“We played against this specific team who play very good football. We are obviously not satisfied with the outcome. We however need to put this match behind us and focus on the next match in the competition against Arsenal. This match will be a final for us.
It is of course important that we have the amazing support of our fans in every match. We want their support. It doesn’t matter whether we win or lose. We respect our fans. They are part of our family. We applauded them because we wanted to thank them for coming all this way to support us.
We know Arsenal also are one of the best European teams. We have 15 days to prepare for this match. We will prepare in the best possible way. We will do our best to win this point that will secure our qualification in the next round.”

“We knew that this match would be difficult for us. We of course hoped we would achieve something better. We knew that we had to be in the best possible condition in order to achieve something. We were not and this is why we were punished. We know what we can do, especially when we play at home. Everything depends on us. As I said before, we control our luck. We need a point to qualify and we will try to do this in our home.”
