In a display of true fighting spirit, passion and will, Olympiacos prevailed throughout the entire match and downed Rijeka 2-1; a scoreline that does not fully reflect our side’s performance in the match. The Legend produced some excellent football on the pitch, created a multitude of goal-scoring opportunities but the ball just… wouldn’t go in. So, everything comes down to the return match on coming Tuesday (22/8) in Croatia where the team will travel to secure its qualification to the UEFA Champions League group stage.
