Read below a report of our head coach’s post-match interview after the end of the match against Barcelona.

-Is this the kind of defeats that, despite the final result, may help a side’s psychology;A defeat is always a defeat. We already knew the difficulties when facing such a team. I think it was positive that one could listen nothing but our fans –satisfied with our display- cheering after the 2nd half started and up unit their 2nd goal ,. Of course, those 2 minutes actually killed all hopes that were about to grow as one could see our side gaining space on the pitch and trying harder to attack. In general, we gave it a shot against the best team in the world and we now have to return back to Athens and start thinking about PAOK. We still have enough time prior to our 3 matches in UEFA Champions League so as to make up our minds and see if there is mothing to win in the UEFA Europa League».

-Alberto Botia said that it is important for you to leave the pitch smiling. So, is this case? “I cannot call it a “smile” but I do believe that when one follows a certain plan during the match and, one way or another, you see it working, this certainly makes you feel better. Should I call that “smiling”? Then no, I am not leaving with a “smile”.
