The Legend’s leader, Mr. Evangelos Marinakis, had said right the next day after the floods, that it was no time for talking, just doing. He had instructed us to help in any way possible suffering people in Mandra, for as many days and in in as many ways as it takes!
After 35 consecutive days of providing relief, which will continue until the town is back to its normal rhythms and all damages are fixed, Mr Marinakis and the Olympiacos family prove that they truly stand next to those in need, and not just talk about it!
Thursday (21/12), Karaiskakis SA President and CEO Mr Vassilis Vassiliadis, together with staff from Olympiacos FC, Karaiskakis stadium and the Rentis Training Center, went once again to the region to locally coordinate operations with the aid of Mandras-Idillias Municipality vice Mayor Mr Periklis Rocas, who also happen to be a fan of our team.
Today it was our blacksmiths’ turn to reach the Municipal Cinema and swiftly construct its external steel doors. Moreover, our earth-moving machinery kept cleaning up streets, pavements and house yards. Our trucks removed and carried mud and debris off the town to local landfill.
