Heading to a qualifying win

Olympiacos beat Lamia 3-2 and won the qualifying ticket to the Greek Cup’s semi-finals.

Being one goal down at the break made no difference for the Legend whose imposing display in the second half and 3 headers on target turned the match around and earned them a place for the Greek Cup’s semi-finals. Lamia took the lead in 44’ with Adejo, but Hassan levelled things in 60′. In 61′, Romanic was sent off leaving his side with 10 players. The Legend, making use of their extra player, got the win thanks to a couple of Cisse headers (72′, 77′). All goals originated from Valbuena’s assists who entered the pitch after half-time. The final scoreline 3-2 was registered by Villalba spot-on penalty kick in 90′.

Olympiacos (Pedro Martins): Allain, Gaspar, Semedo, Cisse, Tsimikas, Guilherme, Camara, Fortounis, Lovera (46′ Valbuena), Masouras (46′ El Arabi), Hassan (78′ Mor).
