The Academy of Olympiacos, with its functioning and building up of players, goes beyond the Greek borders and is considered one of the best in Europe. Therefore, after the start of the new Analysis Department’s functioning in November 2019, the Board of Directors is happy to announce the beginning of the cooperation with the leading American company Hudl.
More specifically, in the 2020-21 season, the Academy’s “arsenal” and the Olympiacos’s schools of football as well, will include three new programs for match analysis: Hudl, Sportscode, and the Wyscout platform for player scouting. The purpose of this collaboration is, on the one hand, the further improvement of the way the academy works and, on the other, the harmonization with the way of functioning of Olympiacos’ main squad, which has been using the specific analysis programs for the last 8 years.
With a strong presence in the top leagues in the world, Hudl is preferred by the majority of the world’s biggest clubs from the Premier League, the Championship, the NBA, La Liga, the MLS, the Bundesliga, Serie A, Ligue 1, among many others.
Finally, the Analysis Department proceeded to the creation of a complete performance analysis system for training and matches, as well as a team and an individual database, which will be used from now on by all the teams of the Academy.
