Football through different eyes

Olympiacos FC hosted five fans with visual impairments at “G. Karaiskakis” in the game against PAOK.

Every year, on October 15th, we look at the world with different eyes, since it is the International White Cane Safety Day. This is a very important day for our fellow humans who are visually impaired.

Specifically, the white cane is the technical aid used by the visually impaired to detect and avoid obstacles in their path, so that they can move independently and safely.

Olympiacos FC and COSMOTE TV collaborated on the occasion of the International White Cane Safety Day and offered a unique experience to five fans with visual impairments during the derby of the 8th day of Superleague, between Olympiacos and PAOK.

With the help of technology, the five fans that were hosted in the press boxes experienced the developments of the night of October 17 at “G. Karaiskakis” in a special way. Our Paralympic Dimitris Abatzis, who has previously been awarded by Olympiacos FC, lawyer Vangelis Avgoulas, blood donor volunteer Christos Koromilas, George Klouvatos and Dimitris Palealexis, watched the derby through different eyes.
