Press release by Olympiacos FC for the acquisition of 23-year-old stopper, Jackson Porozo.

Olympiacos FC announces the acquisition of 23-year-old central defender, Jackson Porozo, born on August 4, 2000, in San Lorenzo, Ecuador.

He played in the youth setup of Independiente del Valle (2016) and Manta (2016–2017), his country’s teams, while in the summer of 2018 he signed for Santos.

In October 2020 he was acquired by Portuguese team Boavista, making 40 appearances and scoring two goals while wearing their jersey.

In the summer of 2022, he transferred to French team Troyes, scoring two goals in the completed season, and offering one assist in 23 appearances, 22 of which were in Ligue 1.

Porozo has seven international appearances with the Ecuadorian national team, having played at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. In 2019 he was a key member of his representative assembly, which won third place in the U-20 World Cup.
