As in Europe, so in Greece, Olympiacos started their season with a victory. The “red-and-whites” edged Panserraikos 2–0 in “G. Karaiskakis,” for the 1st matchday of the Stoiximan Super League championship.
Olympiacos was superior throughout the game, while Panserraikos was left with ten players early on, due to the straight red card to Hayek in the 4th minute. The team from Piraeus managed to lead in the 63’ with Biel, while the 2–0 was formed in the 87’ with a penalty by El-Arabi.
