Olympiacos FC announces the transfer of Omar Richards. Born February 15th, 1998, in Lewisham, UK, the 25 year-old left back joined Fulham’s academy at the age of 10.
In July 2016, he signed his first professional contract for Reading FC and he had his premier in the 2017-2018 season with Yaap Stam at the bench.
He was capped 104 times in Reading (with 92 Championship matches played) and in May 2021, he signed a 4-year contract with Bayern Munich. In 2021-2022, he featured in 12 Bundesliga matches of the Bavarian outfit, in 4 Champions League ones and in one match of the German Cup.
In July 2022, he made his return to the UK after being purchased by Nottingham Forest. In October 2019, he made his debut with the UK’s U21 national team.
