The club marked this historic milestone in a grand manner, exactly as befits the legacy of the greatest club in Greece and the largest multi-sport club in Europe! Images and videos from the spectacular celebrations traveled to every corner of the globe, dynamically capturing the club’s brilliance.
The centennial events were closely intertwined with the Olympiacos fanbase. This was, after all, the wish of the club’s leader, Mr. Evangelos Marinakis: that everything should be done for the fans. And indeed, they actively participated in the festivities, expressed their love, and became an integral part of these historic and momentous days for the club!
Let’s look back at how the Legend’s 100th birthday was celebrated…
On the weekend of March 8 & 9, an activity park was set up outside the “G. Karaiskakis” Stadium for both young and old. It featured an inflatable parkour course, an inflatable football pitch, bouncy castles of various sizes, a knowledge wheel, and face painting. Families and children had an unforgettable time, enjoying the festivities to the fullest.

At the same time, as a follow-up to the highly successful tour in Greece and abroad, Olympiacos’ two European trophies—the UEFA Europa Conference League and the UEFA Youth League—were displayed in a specially designated area outside the stadium. Fans had the opportunity to see them up close and take photos!
On Sunday night (March 9), the “G. Karaiskakis” Stadium was dressed for the occasion, welcoming our supporters to a match that made history. One day before the club’s 100th anniversary, those present at the packed Faliro stadium for the match against OFI, as part of the final MD26 of the Stoiximan Super League regular season, participated in a historic tifo that covered the entire stadium! The players entered the pitch wearing a unique, specially designed, limited-edition commemorative kit, while the old club anthem played in the background! It was an unforgettable night that became a milestone in the legendary history of our club.
Later that same night, at exactly midnight, Olympiacos fans lit up Piraeus and the whole of Greece to wish a happy birthday to the country’s greatest team! The scene, as captured by drones, was breathtaking and spectacular. The Attican sky turned red in honor of Olympiacos’ 100 years of glory.
Flares, fireworks, and a grand spectacle worthy of the club’s greatness. It was a breathtaking fireworks display, while both the Piraeus Tower and the city’s Municipal Theater were illuminated in Olympiacos’ colors, joining in the celebration of the club’s 100-year anniversary.

On Monday afternoon (March 10), the Hellenic Post (ELTA) issued commemorative stamps honoring Olympiacos, its glorious journey in Greece and Europe, and its millions of fans. The series includes two stamps featuring the club’s anniversary emblem, the laurel-crowned Youth, with red symbolizing passion, white representing love for the team, and gold signifying the legendary history and glory of the great Olympiacos sports family.
Veteran and active Olympiacos players gathered at the Central ELTA Office in Piraeus in a symbolic gesture, representing the club’s past, present, and future. They spoke about the commemorative stamp collection, which serves as a tribute of love and passion for the club’s history and legacy.
From Monday afternoon (March 10) until late at night, a large crowd gathered at the Piraeus Municipal Theater to take photos with all of Olympiacos’ European trophies and celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the greatest multi-sport club!

On Monday (March 10) at exactly 19:25—a symbolic time marking the club’s founding year, 1925—the celebrations for Olympiacos’ centennial reached their peak with a breathtaking show in the skies over Piraeus. It was the moment when all eyes turned toward the sky above the port.
Night turned into day across every neighborhood of Greece’s Great Port, as 300 drones created a one-of-a-kind red-and-white spectacle—something never seen before in the country. The stunning images captivated audiences worldwide, leaving an unforgettable mark on history.
